This Rick And Morty ends on a particularly stunning note, underlining how ruthlessly logical Rick can be and the show's willingness to take chances. It creates a potent virus that mutates the rest of the human race into slimy "Cronenberg" body horror monsters, and the more Rick tries to fix it, the bigger the mess becomes. Rick does this seemingly with the sole intention of getting Morty to stop complaining, but this one act essentially dooms the world. “Rick Potion #9" sees Morty beg his grandfather to mix him a potion that will make his high school crush Jessica fall in love with him.
